We often get asked if payment by PayPal is possible. Generally we prefer not to accept PayPal because their fees for international transfers are extremely high compared to all other methods.
Here is a real example: a customer in Germany ordered six microphones and some accessories at a total value of £3,620.04. After PayPal fees we received £3364.58 In other words PayPal take a cut of £255.46 or 7.1%.
As a small business these fees are simply too high. Most other forms of transaction take about 1.5%. We do offer payment by all major credit and debit cards, Stripe, Wise, and bank transfer. If you do prefer on PayPal then we will ask you to cover the fees and will add 7% to your invoice.
