“This is a guitar recording with the BM9 and my trusty 1980 Neumann KM84i, about 50/50 in the mix and spread out a little (BM9 left, KM84 right). The combination is one of the best I´ve tried, the KM84 itself is a little thin for a solo recording and the BM9 adds the guitar body sound perfectly without being boomy. The guitar is a 1967 Gibson J-50 which is starting to have a nice vintage tone. There is some minimal eq and some compression and a little limiting involved here but I tried to keep it as natural as possible.
