Pavane pour une infante défunte (Pavane for a Dead Princess) is a work for solo piano by Maurice Ravel, written in 1899 while the French composer was studying at the Conservatoire de Paris under Gabriel Fauré.

This recording is played on a Yamaha G3 grand piano by Peter Flowers. It was recorded with a spaced pair of Extinct Audio BoRbon microphones, into a Universal Audio Volt 2 interface connected to Logic Pro for iPad.

The recording was normalised but otherwise no processing, compression or EQ has been applied.
