“Okay this is a bit of an experiment. I’ve been wondering if this would work so I thought I’d try it out in this video. Can you get a decent recording of a guitar amp and a vocals together with just one mic? Because of the figure of eight polar pattern on the ribbon mic if I place the amp directly behind the mic it should pick it up pretty well. The mic I’m using is an Extinct Audio BM9 Ribbon mic”.
